Summit Companies in Madison was recently nominated for the “Citizen Assistance Citation” award by the City of Madison Police Department for their support of training efforts at a class for new recruits.
The 50-member recruit class had a training on the theoretical and practical exercises utilizing fire extinguishers in a real world setting. Due to the large class size, they did not have a sufficient number of fire extinguishers for the recruits to practice on.
Joe Greer and Summit Companies stepped up and provided the recruit class numerous fire extinguishers to use and practice with. Doing this provided all 50 recruits a hands on practical exercise at no cost to the City of Madison Police Department Training Center.
