Company Acquires Armstrong Extinguisher Service in Rapid City, SD
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA – Summit Companies, a premier fire life safety company, announced today that its member, MN Conway Fire & Safety, has completed the purchase of Armstrong Extinguisher Service in Rapid City, South Dakota. This acquisition is a strategic geographic expansion of Summit Companies existing fire protection, life safety and consulting business. The new South Dakota branch joins the list of Summit Companies locations in the states of Arizona, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Nevada and Texas.
“Summit Companies expansion into South Dakota is in direct alignment with the company’s strategy to build-out its Midwest footprint and expand nationally to better serve customers throughout the country,” stated Summit Companies CEO, Jeff Evrard. “The addition of Armstrong Extinguisher’s branch office allows Summit Companies the ability to serve people in western South Dakota and North Dakota as well as into Wyoming and Montana.”

Armstrong Extinguisher Service has been serving Rapid City and the surrounding area since 1985. The company has been a valued partner with ANSUL Fire Suppression Systems and that partnership will continue with Summit Companies.
