Summit Fire Protection Acquires Legacy Fire & Safety

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA – Summit Fire Protection Co., a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), announced the acquisition of Legacy Fire & Safety LLC, effective August 16, 2023.

Veteran-owned and operated by Terry Ingleright and his wife, Laura. Legacy Fire & Safety serviced and maintained fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems as well as sold new extinguishers. They served Lake City, Michigan and surrounding areas for the last six years.

Summit Fire Protection’s Traverse City branch will proudly serve existing Legacy Fire & Safety customers going forward. Customers can expect the same excellent service, along with a broader range of expanded offerings across the entire spectrum of fire protection and life safety categories, including fire detection & alarm, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression, special hazard systems, and more. All fire protection and life safety needs can be met through the comprehensive suite of offerings with Summit Fire Protection.
