When Summit Companies was awarded the project at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, their work was cut out for them. The future home of the Minnesota Vikings was designed to be a state-of-the-art facility, and Summit employed approximately 40 dedicated technicians for this project at its peak time. The structure was complex and a detailed project plan was in place to design and and install a sprinkler system that would protect the entire facility in the event of fire. In addition, the company was awarded the kitchen suppression installation through it’s pre-engineered division for the project. This required engaging the Summit Fire Consulting team the special inspections for the project. Additionally, the fire alarm and security team delivered the early detection suppression work for the project.
